I know It has been a while, but now I have so much to talk about! First my best friend Donna arrived in Fuengirola 3 days before our departure to Morocco! We flew for 60 dollars canadian to Marrakesh it self. We were met at the airport by the manager of our Riad el ksab. we drove into the old Marrakesh. We began our walk inside the walls of the medina. No one is supposed to drive there but they constantly do!

We had to walk a path in old quarters to arrive at our beautiful quarters. There was a dining table in the middle of the first floor. A small kitchen and a tv room. One bedroom was on that floor. Our friend JP got that room. On the second floor was two bedroom on either side of an open space. Than we could climb up to the roof were you found lounging furniture.

The riad was super. The old town of Marrakesh is over populated with cats! We were treted to Moroccan tea. the riad feed the Marrakesh birds. They come in from some opening in the roof and come to feed during the day. They start very early and sing. One came to visit me in my room and flew over my head a few times before leaving. I have a lot to talk about Morocco. We visited Marrakesh and Chefchaouen. So I will chat about it the next couple of days. I hope you enjoy discovering those cities with me.
